Our History...

Black Women's Network (BWN) was founded in 1979 by a group of dedicated, civic spirited African American women who were committed to supporting the needs and concerns of other women.

Consequently, activities are designed to emphasize the continuing, pivotal role of BLACK women in affecting the quality of life for our community
Guiding Principles...

  • To create a strong and viable support system among Black Women.
  • To develop and strengthen personal, professional, and business relationships among Black Women.
  • To collaborate with community organizations to support issues affecting Black Women and the community.
  • To increase the general awareness of the Black community regarding issues that affect our social, physical, economic, emotional and spiritual health.
